Services

There are three segments that make up the core work of Ember Archaeology: regulatory compliance for industry & developers; heritage services for First Nations & Indigenous Communities (including industry compliance process support); and services for community organizations like societies, museums, and government agencies.

INDUSTRY

Our team has the experience, expertise and efficiency to offer a full range of heritage and compliance services for the energy, land development, utility and forestry industries. We’ve worked on projects from single residence developments to 15,000 ha forestry programs; and with clients ranging from recreational nonprofits to western Canada’s largest energy and forestry companies.

FIRST NATIONS

We are committed to working and partnering with First Nations and Indigenous Communities for the collaborative and multi-voiced stewardship of the past. We provide support services directly to First Nations, including. technical reviews, consultation support, heritage and traditional use predictive modeling, community archaeology projects, and on-reserve development archaeology services.

GOVERNMENT & HERITAGE SERVICES

Working to better understand our past has a real impact on the future. We don’t take that impact lightly, which is why we offer distinct services for community and government organizations: heritage interpretation, planning, outreach events, tours, workshops, site visits, collection analysis and exhibit development.
